I’m so happy to be returning to the Loughcrew Fairy Festival this July with my MyfanwyNia art stall and I’d love for you to come along and experience it.

Set within the beautiful grounds of Loughcrew Estate in Co. Meath, this much-loved festival is a celebration of fairies, folklore and imagination, a magical day out for children and grown-ups alike.

🗓 Dates: Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July 2026
🕛 Time: 12pm – 6pm daily
📍 Location: Loughcrew Gardens, Oldcastle, Co. Meath

Throughout the weekend, the gardens will come alive with:
🫧 Bubble fairy magic
🎭 Puppetry and storytelling
✨ Wand and mandala making
🧜‍♀️ Mermaids, unicorns, and roaming characters
🎪 Aerial performers and stilt walkers
🎶 Live music, food and artisan stalls

I’ll be there with a whimsical collection of art prints, apparel and handcrafted keepsakes, all featuring my original artwork inspired by folklore, fantasy and the unseen magic between worlds

Returning to this festival feels especially special, it’s one of those events where everything aligns so naturally with my work, where imagination is celebrated and the whole place feels alive with storybook characters

✨ It’s also well worth exploring the surrounding landscape while you’re there. Just nearby lie the ancient Loughcrew Cairn T and the wider Loughcrew Cairn Complex, a Neolithic passage tomb complex over 5,000 years old. Known as Sliabh na Caillí (the Mountain of the Witch), this area is steeped in myth and associated with the Cailleach, a powerful figure of transformation, landscape, and ancient wisdom.
